Parent Club

Have fun and be rewarded by seeing what positive impact our club has on the school. In the past funds raised have included school upgrades such as the installation of air-con’s in all the classrooms (2016) and 2017 will see the courtyard updated.

Our aim: To create events that are centred around children engagement and fundraising activities that are used to positively impact our school as well as creating a fun and inclusive community where parents, grandparents & friends contribute in any way they can.

Committee meetings: we meet once a month (toddlers welcome) as school starts as well as a few evening meetings. You can join our committee or just help out casually as a volunteer- we always need more hands. Many new friendships have been created through committee involvement.

We welcome you to drop into one of our meetings and support your school, even if you are not able to help too much, it is a great opportunity to find out what is happening around the school, and meet other parents.

Types of events & fundraising: Market fun day, Mother’s and Father’s Day stall and breakfast, Easter and Christmas raffles, school discos, parent trivia night, bake sales and Bunnings sausage sizzle. The uniform shop is also managed by the club.

Special lunch and event lunches: Very popular with the kids are the special lunch days we do, twice a term. Kids get so excited to have a different lunch. We also do a lunch pack for the annual sports day.

Working bees: Roughly once a term we run a working bee to help maintain the school property, it’s fun to have the whole family helping out for a few hours on a Saturday and the school looks great after.
